I don't care what my neighbors and friends think, I finally got our Christmas decorations up (via Claire, my daughter), and they're staying up, at least until mid January. AlabamaGoods.com had me hoppin' this season, which left little time for decorating and zero time for baking. But hey, we were blessed with orders and we are ever so thankful. I hope the same for next year. But this time I'll be more prepared. My sketchy plan involves finishing Christmas shopping by the end of October and decorating the first week in November. Christmas cards will have to be ready to go before Thanksgiving or they're not going at all. Sound like a plan, or some wishful thinking? Time will tell.
