Food in Alabama comes in sweet, savory, salty, crispy, crunchy and so much more but one of my indulgences is Bud’s cookies. I had a chance to meet Bud (yes, there is a Bud behind all those cookies) several years ago and I was struck by his ‘everyday Joe’ demeanor. He’s nice to everyone –which says a lot for his character. While the huge yummy factor of the cookies keeps me coming back, supporting Bud’s company makes me smile.  Try them alone
